Blumenkehl has succeeded in assembling a full company and network of experienced tradesman in various construction fields and has been involved in almost every range of residential construction during that time.

The company originally began strictly as a property maintenance company, supporting Blumenkehls' own portfolio and properties he managed for others in another real estate company of which Blumenkehl was a principle. Over the course of the next few years, Blumenkehls' company began building residential homes in Morris and Passaic Counties in New Jersey and became involved over time in the renovation, reconstruction, maintenance and building of almost every residential and commercial type property imaginable. Coupled with his over 30 years experience as owner of a New Jersey real estate brokerage chain before selling his brokerage company to Coldwell Banker Real Estate, Charles Blumenkehl had developed a keen perception of what the consumer is looking for, and was able through Gold Circle Builders to meet and exceed their expectations.

According to Charles Blumenkehl, "It's been a lot of fun, and a world of opportunity, operating my real estate companies through the years. I remember the very first development I ever saw, at the age of 8. It was an old abandoned farm, but the next time my dad brought me back, the builder had cut in roads and sidewalks and I remember there being a foundation of a new house. I remember becoming so excited at how the builder had 'created equity' from the old dilapidated farm, and I decided then that was what I wanted to do."

Blumenkehl points out there is not much going on in the world of new constructions or development planning and selling at current, and he doesn't see that trend turning in the immediate future. Instead, his companies are focused on rehabilitation and value-added opportunities and have been able to ride the economy cycle providing consumers and home-buyers the product they want to buy.
