JOGPODS: THE GREAT NEW TRAINING CONCEPT
JogPods are a range of products designed to help runners of all abilities on their road to fitness. JogPods are music training sessions that combine specifically designed running music with training and coaching advice from top UK personal trainer Michael Warren.
“The music is designed to fit with your activity, so whether you are doing a fast run, or an easy jog, the music changes so the bpm (beats per minute) fits with the training session you are doing”, says Michael. “Research has confirmed the benefits of running to music - it motivates you and keeps you going.”

GREAT MUSIC, GREAT TRAINING
JogPods goes ones step further. As well as fantastic music, your personal trainer is there with you all of the way. Michael’s voice motivates you, it keeps you going. He gives you targets to aim for and advice about technique and running style. It’s like running with a personal trainer, but best of all, he can be with you whenever and wherever you run.

The product range includes several training programs, including Get Back into Fitness (for those who are just starting to exercise), the Treadmill Trainer programme (for use in the gym), and training programmes for getting ready to do either a 5K or 10K race (each of these involves an 8-week structured training programme).

HALF MARATHON, ANYONE?
The flagship product is the Half Marathon training programme which prepares you over a 12-week structured training programme, which includes over 50 training sessions and nearly 50 hours of music, all with personal trainer coaching. The product is supplied on a DVD disk that you put into your computer and then transfer the music files to your mp3 player.
The sessions all begin with a 5 minute warm up and end with a 5 minute warm down. The main working phases of the sessions are energising and contain varied profiles (such as steady state running, interval training, easy jog, race pace) that are designed to give you progressive, structured and enjoyable training. The personal training delivers advice, coaching, focus tips and motivation. “The feedback we are getting is very positive, people love the music, and really appreciate the personal training” says Michael.
