Women Driving Green Revolution in America Concludes Green N Brown

Jan. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- In an announcement, Green N Brown – the online retailer of eco friendly and organic products revealed its findings to conclude that it is the women in America who are driving the Green revolution.

These findings are based on the quarterly consumer survey as well as the sales data of the company.

“We are not surprised by this revelation,” says Green N Brown Evangelist & CEO, Naina Vaish. “This only validates our perception that women are the key drivers to purchase decisions among families.”

Vaish further added, “We do not intend to make gender biased statements, nonetheless, our own sales data shows only 14% male buyers for Green products as versus 86% females.”

The survey results also conclude that the awareness and adoption for organic is increasing among women with 42% women respondents actively seeking organic products related to food, wellness and lifestyle.

“Change needs to happen bottoms up,” concluded Vaish, “we strongly believe that the national policies should focus more on promoting Green specifically among women masses to see a much stronger and meaningful impact.”

About the Survey
484 Americans participated in the survey conducted in Q4, 2010. Respondents represented the four regions throughout the US in equal quotas: Midwest, Northeast, South, and West. All age groups and genders are near equally represented.
