Jan. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- MiCTA, a national group purchasing organization is pleased to announce that it has issued a Request for Proposals seeking consulting services that would be of interest to its membership. The RFP seeks U.S.-based consultants who are willing to provide discounted consulting services to MiCTA membership in a variety of disciplines, including educational software consulting.

The RFP seeks educational software consultants who can assist with the design, specification, recommendation, implementation, and/or integration of educational software and other educational resources into new and existing curricula at any level. MiCTA seeks qualified consultants to provide services at the local, regional and national level to its educational members, which span the PreK-20 educational spectrum.

The MiCTA membership is comprised of more than 2,500 K-12 schools and school districts; higher education institutions; state, county and local government agencies; non-profit and charitable organizations, and health care institutions throughout the United States. Consultants who respond to the RFP will not be required to provide services nationwide, however national consulting firms are welcome to submit proposals.

MiCTA negotiates substantial volume purchasing discounts for technology products and services on behalf of its membership, which is comprised of higher education institutions, K-12 schools and school districts, municipalities, non-profit organizations, hospitals and health care providers, religious and charitable organizations throughout the United States.
