Jose Canseco to launch a line of softball bats with Bass Gloves and break world record with 600’.

Jan. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Famed baseball athlete Jose Canseco will be attempting to hit a baseball 600’ with his new series of softball bats made by Bass Gloves named “Juiced” and “The Natural”.  These limited edition bats are already being pre-ordered in the thousands.

Los Angeles, CA  – January 25, 2011 – On Thursday, January 27, at The Master's College- 21726 Placerita Cyn. Rd. - Santa Clarita, California 91321, Canseco will be testing his new bats “Juiced” and “The Natural” in an attempt to hit the ball over 600’ and break world records.  Bass Gloves owner Kevin Bass will be there with Canseco to test these limited series bats, which already has several thousand on pre-order.

Most recently softball great Jeff Hall and Canseco went head to head in Alabama where Canseco was deemed the winner for the long distance award by hitting the ball 530’, where Hall’s reportedly went 520’.   Thereby prompting Bass Gloves owner Kevin Bass to put out a limited series of bats for Canseco.  Bass played major league baseball (drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 1998) and founded the company in 2005 with the company never looking back as business has grown initially be word of mouth.  Bass Gloves has branched out into a multiple number of venues for its variety of sports products from gloves, bats, footwear, shirts, etc.
Canseco and Bass put a lot of thought into naming the bats Juiced and The Natural. “This bat is all you need, it supplies all the power.  You don’t need steroids with this bat, no juice needed; the bat does all the work”.  Stated  Canseco.  

Canseco has had his share of controversy over the years and has learned a great deal over time about dedication, commitment and what giving back to his community means.  An undisclosed amount of each sale will go to B.A.T, (Baseball Assistance Team).  The primary objective of the Baseball Assistance Team is to aid those members of the "baseball family" most in need.  “I want to give back to baseball and have attached B.A.T as my charity of choice because I feel more people should be aware of the organization and what they stand for”  said Canseco.
