American Public Works Association Inland Empire Branch Elects Jon Bouregois, P.E., to Serve on Board

Jan. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Jon Bourgeois, P.E., was elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Inland Empire Branch of the American Public Works Association (APWA).  Mr. Bourgeois is Executive Vice President and Principal of Hall & Foreman, Inc. (HFI), a civil engineering, land planning, and surveying firm.

The Inland Empire Branch is part of the Southern California APWA Chapter and the international APWA organization. APWA is an educational and professional association of public agencies, private sector companies, and individuals dedicated to providing high quality public works goods and services. The Inland Empire Branch serves members across Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

Mr. Bourgeois was installed on January 6, 2011, and will serve a one-year term.  In his role as a Board Member, he will work with the Branch's leadership to implement programs and services that benefit the professional development of the members.  

During Mr. Bourgeois’ 35-year engineering career, he has led design teams for a variety of public works projects.  His expertise includes preparation of project specifications and bid documents, cost estimates, right-of-way engineering, and contract administration. His design experience includes streets, highways, storm drains, sewer and water facilities, and other public works infrastructure components.
