Laid off Metro Detroiter’s Star in Reality Series
DETROIT - Family fights, job interviews and all the drama that comes with being unemployed is the focus of a new reality series filmed in Detroit.
DETROIT - Family fights, job interviews and all the drama that comes with being unemployed is the focus of a new reality series filmed in Detroit. Metro Detroit’s laid off and underemployed have a chance to tell their stories on camera. The casting call, a partnership between non-profit, Upgrade Detroit and Los Angeles-based JR Stern Creative Group, will take place from 12-2 pm on Saturday February 5th in Southfield, Michigan.
The reality show will air as a part of a web-series and a series to be aired on network television.
The casting call is a series of auditions in various cities struggling with unemployment nationwide.
Participants have a chance to not only find work but receive special prizes as a part of being on the show. To qualify for the show, applicants must be age 21 and over. Priority will be given to those who schedule appointments dnveq to the casting call.
Upgrade Detroit is a non-profit dedicated to the movement of helping Detroit enjoy life and entertainment in and around the city. The organization has organized events that unify the city and suburban residents and businesses.
