Arrival in Marrakech.
You will be meet by your Moroccan guide at the Marrakech Airport and transferred back to your hotel.
Depending on your time of arrival, you can visit the historic market square, Jemma El Fna, and the surrounding Souk’s throughout the Medina. Dinner tonight will be at the square, where you can experience the hustle and bustle, sights, sounds and smells that make this place so famous.

DAY 2
An early start today.
After break fast we will head to M’Hamid, a small village located on the edge of the Sahara Desert, on route, climbing over the breath taking High Atlas Mountains. Once we arrive in the ‘Hollywood city of Morocco,’ Ouarzazate,
you have the option of visiting the film studios, or the 19th century Taourirt Kasbah.
Lunch is in Ouarzazate before continuing on to Zagora through the amazing Draa Valley which has one of the largest palmeries in Morocco. Take some time to look at the magnificant views over the thousands of Date palms, then it’s back on route, stopping in Tamegroute just outside Zagora. This area is famous for its pottery, here you will see the manufacturers at work and maybe, if you like, a spot of shopping.
Once we arrive in M’hamid you will transfer into a 4x4 to spend your first night in the Sahara Desert in a Bivouac (Berber tent). Your first night of Saharan food and music

DAY 3
After breakfast, you will be going on camel ride around the sand dunes and back to the small village of M’hamid. to pick up supplies ie water, snacks etc for the next leg of the journey
We continue by 4W4 to Erg Chegaga, one of the largest dunes in the area standing over 300m, stopping at an oasis for lunch on the way.
Once arriving in Erg Chegaga you can have a once in a lifetime experience : Sand Boarding in the magnificent Sahara.. Climb the massive dunes and take the fast way down by sand board!
After dinner it’s time for dancing, drumming and music with the Blue Men,of the Saharia

DAY 4

.After breakfast today we drive through the desert passing the many nomadic families living throughout the Sahara via Foum Zguid and stopping at the carpet village of Tazenackt for lunch.
Then back on route to Ait Ben Haddou, passing the movie set of ‘The Hills have Eyes’. Where you can stop for photos of the old American Diner where the movie took place.
We arrive in Ait Ben Haddou in the late afternoon where you can spend your afternoon relaxing or a walk around the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.

DAY 5

This morning after breakfast you will have a guided tour. This ancient Kasbah, now under Unesco protection, is one of the best-preserved Kasbahs in the entire Atlas region, it rises from the hill side with beautiful rough cast terraces sur-rounded by high walls and narrow alley ways encircling the Dars (houses). This location is where many blockbuster films have been made over many years such as The Mummy, Star wars, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven and many more.
Once you have finished your tour of the Kasbah we will then head to the Gorge of Todra passing through Ouarzazate, the main Hollywood city of Morocco which boasts Morocco’s largest filming studios. Next we travel along the route of 1000 Kasbahs, this area is well known for its beautiful Palmeries, Annual Rose festival and Dades Valley.
Once we arrive in the Todra Gorge you have a guided walk through the Palmerie. In the afternoon you are free to explore the gorge. Take a donkey ride, hire a guide and rock climb the awe inspiring gorge walls or meander up the river.

DAY 6

This morning we leave Todra Gorge to head back to Marrakech, which is often called the Red City.
Once we arrive, you can take a rest or go out to explore the city, visit the New Town, Gueliz, or return to the medina.
Tonight you might to like to have a night out at one of many Bars, Nightclubs and Restaurants they have to offer in Marrakech. The night life is a big part of the city lifestyle.

DAY 7
Today is your free day to explore. Visit the historic places of this magnificent 11th Century City such the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian Tombs, the Badia and Bahia Palaces in the Mellah Jewish quarter and through the exciting Medina Jemma Elfna or you could visit the beautiful Marjorelle gardens. You may like to hire a local registered guide to see the sights and learn the history.

DAY 8

Today we head to the stunning small Fishing town of Essouria, favoured by many famous musicians over the years such as Jimmy Hendrix, Mick Jagger, Jim Morrison and Cat Stevens. This beautiful Portuguese city has a great Medina which is a fusion of both cultures.
The thriving port is at it’s most lively early in the early morning when the boats are arriving laden with fresh fish for the market. Lunch will be next to the port where you can chose your fish to be cooked in front of you.
Spend your afternoon on the beach which is popular for watersports such as wind surfing and wake boarding or take a stroll through the souks.
The evening is a great time to explore the Medina of Essaouria

DAY 9

Today you will be leaving the white and blue Portuguese fishing village and back to Marrakech. On route we will visit a Woman’s Cooperative where the oil produced from the nut of the Argan tree, which is unique to the southwest of Mo-rocco, is processed into healing oils, beauty products high in Vitamin C and gourmet cooking oils sold all over the world.
For your last night , enjoy dinner at the Riad with traditional Gnawan Musicians and Belly Dancers.
