Jan. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- When the Collectorcarads.com domain was first registered on January 24th,  2002 it was meant to be used as a test to help owner Dean Wicklund learn how to develop a website. " I was learning basic html and web development and had also been a classic car fanatic since I was a kid. I thought why not try to build a classic car classified website to help develop my skills."

What began as a hobby has developed into a business and now Collector Car Ads is one of the largest classic car classified websites on the internet. Visitors to the website can browse and search over 3,000 classic cars for sale. For advertisers selling their classic car, ads are free to post. "We've always wanted to keep the advertising free. Of course this is great for the advertisers, but it also means we will have a large inventory of cars to view on the site which gives a better user experience for our visitors who are searching for classic cars."

Now entering its tenth year, Collector Car Ads is looking forward to building on its success. " The past year has seen a lot of growth with the site. Normally December is the slowest time of the year for us, but in 2010, December was our strongest month. 2011 should be our best year yet"
