"  - Leah Hartofelis

Children's Yoga holds many benefits to the child, including promoting strength, flexibility, and coordination, enhancing self-awareness, imagination, and empathy, and teaches children ways to relax and gain control of the stress in their lives.  Children's Yoga programs at Breathe N Flow Yoga are non-competitive, and each child is encouraged to listen to their own bodies and practice at their skill level, without comparing themselves to the children next to them.  Children's Yoga classes are also wonderful for children who aren't interested in playing organized sports, but wish to interact with their peers in a non-competitive, peaceful, and nurturing environment.

Leah Hartofelis, Owner of Breathe N Flow Yoga, is a also a mother of two boys, ages 9 and 5.  Leah has seen the stress that school, or life, or even friends or siblings can have on a child, and the wonderful effects Yoga can have on that same child.  Because of this Leah volunteers her time at both her son's schools in Oceanside, holding a children's Yoga class at her younger son's Pre-K at School 6, and also at School 3 for the 4th and 5th graders.  Leah also volunteers her time for any fitness or health related activities or fairs held at her sons' schools.
