Marketing budgets to rise in 2011

Marketing budgets are set to increase in 2011, according to recent research from StrongMail.
Jan. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Marketing budgets are set to increase in 2011, according to recent research from StrongMail.

The study found that as the UK tentatively starts to emerge from the economic downturn, firms are keen to ensure that they stay one step ahead of their rivals by promoting themselves and their offerings.

In fact, as many as half of the businesses questioned by StrongMail plan to increase their marketing budgets, while 43 per cent will maintain their current level of spending in the new year.

Overall, just seven per cent of firms plan to slash their overall marketing budgets, a significant improvement compared to the 11 per cent who planned to spend less money in 2010.

We think that a great way for firms to throw themselves back into self promotion is to give out some promotional gifts to help get their name out there.

Promotional pens and printed USBs are great items to give out to prospective clients as your name and logo will be right there whenever they use them.
