GreenPois0n Full Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1 Without Needing 4.2b3 SHSH Blobs

Jan. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- The Chronic Dev-Team has announced an untether for the iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak. Chronic Dev Team have just released a new video which shows full untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1 in action.

We recently informed that posixninja the member of chronic dev-team tweeted that they are going to release new update of GreenPois0n which bring full untethered jailbreak to iOS 4.2.1 without needing 4.2b3 SHSH blobs and after some time they release a demo video running an untethered Jailbreak iPhone.But we found a thing in video that Cydia is opening without having any connection, As shown in video there is no sim, no Wifi connection. When we ask to Posixninja he replied that it is bug and they are working on it will release the full package soon!

The untether is demoed in the video below. It’s a result of a collaboration between @0naj, @p0sixninja, and @pod2g. P0sixninja has previously said it will not require iOS 4.2b3 SHSH blobs.

Pod2g notes that a small bug remains where the wifi icon doesn’t show up. Once fixed they will package the untether for release.
