By: Walk4Water 1 in 8 people in the world today lack access to clean, safe water. Walk4Water envisions a world where everyone has access to this basic human right. And it is a simple problem to solve; the statistic that $20 will give clean water to someone for 20 years is true. That’s what motivates the Walk4Water team to move forward, as they also invite others to participate in making a difference. Walk4Water is benefiting charity: water; a NYC based charity that partners with local water projects around the world to provide sustainable solutions to the world water crisis. Walk4Water will be doing other local and national events in the next year to promote the cause, and in Jan 2012, a team will be departing for Africa, where they will walk 7000 miles, over 2 years to bring attention to this issue within the western world. # # # Walk4Water is a nonprofit organization raising funds and awareness for the cause of clean water in the developing world.
