Jan. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Oakland’s most formidable rap duo V-White & The Politician are breaking out of the Bay Area’s hyphy box and dropping real hip-hop on the masses. There are no fillers, just great rhymes and equally great beats.

Their newest video for the single “Should I Let this Street Shit Go” is no different. Directed by Casual and edited by Opio of The Hieroglyphics, there are no special effects or half-naked ladies. This video is solely propelled by the dynamics between V-White & The Politician and is strictly for the streets. The masses approve. “Should I Let this Street Shit Go” has already garnered over 2,000 YouTube views since its January 7 debut. This is the first of 4  music videos that are planned for release, the video for "California" ft Too Short, the second focus track off Stimulus Package, will be the next to drop.

The Stimulus Package which dropped 11/16/10 is a follow up to the duo’s previous fall release Streets Can Vouch. Produced by The Politician, this whopping 18 track effort features cameos from Too Short, Beeda Weeda, and Messy Marv. With understated but effective melodies, The Stimulus Package adds variety to Bay Area hip-hop which has over the years become homogeneous.

Brought together eight years ago by their mutual friend Too Short, V-White (formerly Vidal) and The Politician instantly clicked and started creating music together. The two offered their first project No Gimmicks for free, enabling them to build a strong fan base.

V-White is best known as half of the Oakland act The Delinquents. After signing with Priority Records in the 90s, he released the classic “Bosses will be Bosses” and “That Man.” He has also worked with hip-hop notables such as Snoop Dogg, Mack 10, Master P and Too Short.

Big Zeke The Politician wears many hats, often taking on the roles of producer, writer and rapper. He has worked with countless artists including Ant Banks, Ea Ski, Too Short, Mistah Fab, Messy Marv, San Quin, Casual, Stevie Joe, Eddi Projex, and Mac Shawn 100 and has established himself as one of the best producers in the Bay Area.
