Northwest Embroidery CEO voted Best Business Owner

Jan. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Fife Free Press has chosen Northwest Embroidery CEO Jim Mickelson as its best Business Owner for its 2010 "Best of" awards. Founding the company in 1977, Jim Mickelson has taken the company from humble beginnings in a Tacoma warehouse to its current facility in Milton, with almost ten times its original manufacturing capacity.

Family owned with his two sons Erik and Scott, Jim is proud to serve his local community with high quality custom apparel and patches. Erik was happy to express his family's gratitude for his father's distinction. "We wouldn't have been in business for 33 years without the support of the community," said Erik, who has been working with the company for the past 15 years.

Fife Free press is a member of the Pierce County Community Newspaper Group, which began publishing in 1987. Its "Best of" awards are chosen once a year and voted by the editorial staff.
