NAHB National Green Building Conference Appoints 2011 Chairman

March 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Gainesville, Georgia: The National Association Of Home Builders (NAHB) has appointed a Northeast Georgia home builder as chairman of the upcoming National Green Building Conference and Expo in Salt Lake City, UT. Douglas Calvert of Mountain View Home Builders, Gainesville, GA, will serve as chairman of this years event to be held May 1st through the 3rd at the Salt Palace Convention Center. The National Green Building Conference and Expo is the largest residential building conference in North America. The conference and expo provides unique educational opportunities for building professionals persuing the latest in green building technology and certifications. The conference will also showcase the latest green building products and technology during the Expo.

Mr. Calvert is a Certified Green Professional (CGP) and is currently serving on the NAHB National Green Building Committee and the Atlanta Green Building Council.
