Jan. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- i-Free has previously developed and launched numerous mobile services designed to simplify communication with various organizations and make it easier for people to gain access to all kinds of information.
“Electronic Slip” is a project by means of which Kazakhstan’s Prosecutor General’s Office has hoped to become more accessible for citizens via an online service people can use to track the status of their petitions lodged with the central prosecutorial authority.
But the number of potential “Electronic Slip” users was capped by limited Internet coverage in Kazakhstan. The problem was solved when the project’s mobile version was launched with technical support from i-Free-Kazakhstan. In Kazakhstan, where cellular coverage exceeds 100%, this means that the “Electronic Slip” service is now available to everyone, everywhere.
From now on, a text message to 1012 will be sufficient to check on the status of your petition or query on file with the national prosecutor’s office. The message should specify your personal code, appearing on the slip you were issued when your petition was registered.
A few seconds later, you will receive a reply stating the prosecutor’s decision on your case or the time scheduled for your petition to be reviewed.
The terms and conditions of use of the “Electronic Slip” service, including its online and mobile versions, are stated on the slip issued when the petition is placed on prosecutor’s office file.
“We aspire to design innovative products and services to make life easier and create extra conveniences for millions,” said Maksim Gruzdov, Managing Director of i-Free-Kazakhstan (i-Freedom TOO). “We are glad that our technological expertise can benefit the judicial branch of government. Clearly, the mobile “Electronic Slip” service will dramatically simplify citizens’ access to critical information.”
The mobile “Electronic Slip” service is available to the users of Kcell/Activ and Beeline in Kazakhstan. A text message to 1012 costs 10 cents (including VAT).
