Mark Group Launches Solar Health Check Service

Jan. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Mark Group, the UK’s leading installer of energy saving solutions, has launched a Solar Health Check service exclusively for solar power customers.

Designed to help homeowners, social landlords and new home builders get the most out of Solar Hot Water or Solar PV systems, the Health Checks are recommended every two years to ensure systems are working efficiently, saving money and maximising CO2 reductions.

Regular bi-annual servicing is an important part of the recommendations made by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). As an accredited member, Mark Group’s Solar Health Check Scheme, will assess system performance against original design parameters, either resulting in a clean bill of health or with recommendations for any remedial actions.

Our Solar Health Check service has been launched to provide peace of mind for customers, ensuring they are maximising their energy savings and reducing their CO2 emissions.”

The Health Check will be available to homeowners for servicing individual domestic systems, or to social landlords and private house builders for their portfolios of housing stock. John continued: “Solar power generation is a relatively new technology for domestic market in the UK, but as Government incentives drive demand, servicing plans and technical support will soon be expected as standard.”
