BioVision Introduces Three New Assay Kits

Jan. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- BioVision is pleased to introduce three new activity assay kits, Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT) Assay Kit, Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST) Assay Kit and Myeloperoxidase (MPO) Assay Kit to its Metabolism Assay kits line. ALT and AST, which are members of the transaminase family of enzymes, are important for liver function and diseases affecting organs such as heart, pancreas and kidney, whereas, myeloperoxidase (MPO), an enzyme present in leukocytes (white blood cells) is linked to inflammation and cardiovascular disease.
