i purchased this toothbrush because my old electric one (also a Braun) needed to be retired. It was still working fine after a decade so it is now my spare one which lives in the uk while I live in Holland. This new one is faster and better and has an alarm which tells you when you experience brushed enough. But beware - it was included with a European plug, which is fine to me as I am usually living in european union, but if you are in the UK you will require an adapter. If you have never used an electrical toothbrush you are in for a deal with! Despite its being a lot heavier than the usual 'normal' toothbrush I always pack my electric one because i recognize that my teeth will be properly cleaned in a quarter of times compared to the other kind of toothbrush and with less effort on my part.

I already own an oral-b toothbrush pertaining to myself and bought this for my daughter having discovered that battery operated brushes lose power too quickly creating poor brushing (and a telling off on the dentists! ).

This brush does what it says to the tin. It has a 30 second quad timer which teaches how much time to spend brushing, and has an indicator light to show you when it is charging/charged.

It doesn't include any fancy heads that clean different locations or do anything fancy, but since he did this for a child we had no need for such things.

I have no complaints around the product at all. Fantastic price - fewer than half what I would have paid in the purchase it - and a similar price to an unbranded product for which possibly you have difficulty buying new heads. Quick delivery far too. Thoroughly recommended.
