Jan. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Metalux is holding a world-class Lubrication Programme Assessment Training Course this coming 14-15 April 2011, at The Puteri Pacific Johor Bahru Hotel, The Kotaraya, Jalan Abdullah Ibrahim, 80000 JOHOR BAHRU, Johor Darul Takzim, Malaysia.

Lubrication is an integral part of the basic design of equipment and machineries. As a corollary, lubrication programmes have a direct result on lubrication effectiveness, equipment reliability, and plant availability that ultimately affects your plant’s profitability.

However, many of today’s lubrication programmes have been neglected over the years, or have been rendered obsolete due to changes in operation or advances in technology. The more progressive lubrication programmes have a complete list of the plant’s oil- and grease-lubricated equipment with documented guidelines to provide the right lubricant, in the right amount, at the right time, in the right location and under the right conditions. While this is critical to equipment operating efficiency and reliability, a world-class Lubrication Programme Assessment will outline the blueprint for improvements to bring current practices in line with industry best practices.

This training course will focus on the 12 key elements (see the spider web chart) that are the building blocks necessary to design a world-class lubrication programme. Each of the 12 elements will be reviewed in detail to provide attendees with an in-depth understanding of their requirements, along with a check-list and guidelines to assist in step-by-step actions to complete a thorough and competent assessment. The steps will include examining the plant’s current practices in lubrication, maintenance, process procedures and technologies that are presently in place, as well as ranking the results and recommending improvements to bring current practices in line with industry best practices.

A sample assessment report will be analyzed to illustrate how the skills learnt in the course can be put into practice, the incorporation of spider web charts, recommendations to improve lubrication programmes, and financial justification on how these recommendations increase the company’s bottom line.

Come and register before 04 March 2011 and enjoy early bird discount. Group discount is also available for more than 2 participants registering from the same company and billing address.
