Dr. Seradge Announces the Orthopedic Institute Adds Board Certified Rheumatologist

Jan. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Oklahoma City (January 17, 2011) - Dr. Houshang Seradge, founder of the Orthopedic Institute (OI), is pleased to announce that Dr. Faisal Khan is now board certified in Rheumatology. Dr. Khan is a fellowship trained rheumatologist, who completed his training at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He also completed a research fellowship in the Department of Medicine, Cardiovascular Section at the University and a fellowship in rheumatology at the Orthopedic Institute.  He completed his residency at the New York Medical College and is board certified in Internal Medicine.

After completion of his many years of training, Dr. Khan returned to his adopted home, Oklahoma, and joined the physicians at the Orthopedic Institute in February 2008. “We are happy to have Dr. Khan as a valued member of the orthopedic surgery and pain management specialists' team at the Orthopedic Institute,” states Dr Seradge. “Together, the team has the expertise, experience and collective knowledge to best provide for the needs of our patients,” he added.
In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Khan is passionate about research and continuing medical education. He currently serves as the principal investigator in several clinical research trials at the Health Research Institute.

Dr. Khan is accepting new patients needing care in the areas of arthritis, lupus and a variety of auto-immune diseases.
