Tarrytown House Estate Announces First in Series of Winter Getaway Weekends

The Tarrytown House Estate in Tarrytown, NY recently announced that it would run a series of fun filled Winter Getaway Packages that will give guests a chance to refuel and reconnect – with friends and with nature – during the winter season. The 26-acre hotel, managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, will offer a special package on Saturday-Sunday, February 5-6, for guests attending EagleFest in Croton.

Nature lovers and families will want to book the hotel’s EagleFest package, which will be offered February 5-6 when Teatown’s Hudson River EagleFest occurs (February 5) at Croton Point Park. The EagleFest, now in its seventh year, brings a celebration of the winter return of the Bald Eagle to the Hudson Hills and Highlands and is a rare opportunity to see eagles up close. The daylong festival includes Birds of Prey shows, a children’s area with interactive games, crafts, and hands-on discoveries, music, storytelling, eagle viewing sites along the Hudson River, Eagle Exploration bus tours, and more. Admission to the event and reserved seating at an eagle show are included in the package price, starting at $169 for one room and admission for two to the event. After a day filled with eagle scouting and viewing, hotel guests will return and have the chance to warm up in the indoor hot tubs and pool, enjoy hot chocolate and warm apple cider and reflect on the beauty of nature. Dinner is available as an add-on to the package.
