John Dewey once said, "If we teach today as we taught yesterday , we rob our children of tomorrow."  The technology we have at our fingertips can help us to become those memorable teachers of tomorrow.  

Face it, we live in an information driven world.  How many cell phones and ipods do you confiscate in one week? Students are communicating more and more through technological sources and the need to adapt to their learning curve is more crucial than ever.  

MyTechTrainers was started with one thought in mind:  "Technology can be our friend and helper, however; we must understand how it works to gain its full benefits."   With that mission statement in mind My Tech Trainers has put together some free and paid workshops that teach every level of learner essential technology skills.  They cover a myriad of topics including: Facebook & Twitter for the Classroom, Google Docs, Skype, Glogster, Blackboard 9.1, Voice Thread, LiveMocha & more.

Additionally, they are going through the process of being approved as a Continuing Education Provider for the State of Texas.  Not only will you receive practical information that can be applied to your own classroom, but you can earn your CPE credits at the same time.
