Feb. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Being eco-friendly, at one point would have been considered as somewhat of a fad, however over the last decade or so, more and more businesses, communities, countries, and even individuals have seen the importance of doing their bit for the environment.  Whether it is a case of recycling your plastics and papers from home, or choosing to walk or cycle instead of drive, it is that first step that is always the hardest.

The UK, Eire, Norway, France, Israel, and China have all taken that stride towards being eco-friendly in the construction world.  Keep up-to-date with more Duzz news on http://www.twitter.com/DuzzEurope, and take a few moments to think about how you can reduce harm to the environment... here are five for you to do straight away:
-Walk or cycle to work at least once a week.
-Only buy the amount of food you need in order to reduce waste.
-Only boil the kettle using the amount of water that you need.
-Save electricity by just doing your ironing once a week - or just wear lycra [no creases ;o)]
-Switch off all of your power points when you are not using the appliances i.e. do not leave your TV on standby.
