Jan. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- On December 9, 2009,  Police Officer Michael Crawshaw was killed while responding to a call in Penn Hills, PA (an eastern suburb of Pittsburgh.)  On June 18, 2011, the officer will be honored by the 2nd Annual Officer Michael Crawshaw’s Ride to Remember.  This will be a 52-mile motorcycle ride, beginning at Linton Middle School in Penn Hills and ending at Three Rivers Harley Davidson in Glenshaw, PA, with an hour-long concert performance by Bryan Cole, a Penn Hills native.

Coincidentally, Bryan attended Linton Middle School as a young man, and he recently returned to shoot footage for his “It All Comes Back to Me” music video.  “I have been so blessed to grow up in a community where the officers have always reached out to the citizens–serving and protecting.  I was fortunate to briefly know Officer Crawshaw, so I’m truly honored to have been asked to be a part of this event to raise money for the families of those who have paid the ultimate price for our safety.”

All money raised at the event will be donated to the Penn Hills Fallen Heroes Fund.  Details for the concert are still being worked out, but a tentative 12:00pm start time has been mentioned.    For ride details, please call 412-795-3500 ext. 3373.
