Body Language Insights: Separating Lies From The Truth And Gaining Emotional Balance
Meet The Man Who Uses Body Language To Help Transform Your Personal And Professional Life
According to Vincent Harris, “People are are always surprised by how much influence they can have with the emotional states of both their own lives, and the lives of others. Simply making a few strategic moves with the muscles in your face can literally cause a measurable shift in not only your own biochemistry, but the biochemistry of someone looking at you as well. And, of course, lets not forget how much of a confidence boost that doubling your success at detecting deception in others can give you”.
Vincent finds himself in a very rare group of people worldwide. He scored a 93% on a “micro-expressions”
Vincent is also often hired to help individuals or employers determine whether someone is lying. He is quick to point out that he never tells a client “That person is lying!” but instead lets them know, based on his detailed and in-depth analysis, whether he would feel comfortable with what they are saying, or whether they should look into the matter more thoroughly. The requests that he gets run the gamut from “Is my spouse lying?” to “Is this potential hire telling the truth?”
The secret to his success with body language lies in what he calls his weaknesses and his interests. Vincent has always had intense passion for studying human behaviour. Initially, his interest was in his own behaviour and feelings. Harris said that until he was in his late twenties, he never felt that he was driving his own “bus” and longed for being able to more effectively run his mind and body. But what started as a clear path of self-help, eventually turned to a passion that went well beyond his needs.
Some twenty years later, he has it woven through most every aspect of his life. In the last decade Vincent has slowly but surely carved a name for himself. He is a nationally acclaimed speaker and trainer who has taken the stage at such places as The Pentagon in Washington, MasterCard, and The United States Navy, has been called by Fox News, The Early Show, and MTV, and has been featured in several print magazines such as First for Women and Women’s World.
He was asked to give a detailed analysis of both Tiger Woods “events” and also provided insight on the now famous Jay Leno/Oprah interview.
When asked about this transition into the professional realm and his fascination with human behaviour, he replied, “I have learned from many brilliant people (concerning body language) about what I did intuitively (accurately reading others) for much of my life, and I owe so much to Dr. Paul Ekman and his work, and his lifelong dedication to bringing this knowledge to the world; he is the ‘Master of Faces’ without a doubt. I enjoy being able to help provide a better, wider understanding of this amazing science. I don’t think there are m any limits to how it can be applied to health sciences, corporations, employees and psychology”.
Body language accounts for a great deal of our communication. Vincent is helping to bring clarity and focus to others by making people more aware of the messages they send and how to more effectively craft the messages they are sending to the people around them. Who knows, he might even help you discover whether you’re being lied to.
