Tea Party Condemns Arizona Shooting

Jan. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- The Tea Party does not condone violence. Our ideological battle has always been and will always be at the ballot box. Furthermore, we vehemently disagree with obtuse statements blaming the Tea Party's influence for the shooting in Tucson Arizona.

This tragic and horrendous event, with the subsequent loss of life, speaks directly to the issue of civility in political discourse.  

The Somerset County Tea Party Organization believes that ideology must not lead to violence and roundly condemn those who advocate a violent solution as the means to settle differences.  

We pray for the victims and their family members and offer our condolences to those that lost loved ones today in this senseless, tragic event.
