Will Stutts Returns to Sanibel in "A Journey Through the Mind ... Edgar Allan Poe"

Jan. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- A Journey Through the Mind ... Edgar Allan Poe with Will Stutts, will be performed at BIG ARTS 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 26. BIG ARTS Schein Performance Hall is located at 900 Dunlop Road, Sanibel. Tickets are general admission $36, student $15.

In this show Stutts takes on the persona of Poe, known for his tales of horror as well as his haunting poetry. With dramatic re-tellings of Poe classics like The Tell-Tale Heart and The Cask of Amontillado and poems Annabel Lee and The Raven, Stutts convinces audiences they are in the presence of the literary legend.

Stutts portrayed his second cousin, actress Tallulah Bankhead, in a previous performance at BIG ARTS. His gifted storytelling will deliver a unique glimpse into the mind of writer Edgar Allan Poe.
         
In a career spanning more than four decades, Stutts has appeared in more than 1,000 single engagements before audiences estimated to exceed one million. A masterful playwright, Stutts writes, directs and stars in each of his one-man shows, including portrayals of Mark Twain, Walt Whitman, and Frank Lloyd Wright.
