Jan. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- A free color 2011 calendar is free for download from Montana State University's Astrobiology Biogeocatalysis Research Center (ABRC). The calendar includes facts about astrobiology research and extreme organisms in Yellowstone National Park, as well as a few astrobiology-related resources.

Astrobiology researchers from MSU as well as several other teams affiliated with the NASA Astrobiology Institute (NAI) are active in Yellowstone because the park includes so many "extreme" environments that scientists theorize might be similar to those found on other planets and moons.
