TransWorld SKATEboarding Hires Ad Sales Associate, David Jurusik

Jan. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- TransWorld SKATEboarding, a property of TransWorld Media, the leading media company in action sports, announces its new hire, David Jurusik, as advertising sales associate.  

David, who first started skateboarding when he was 12 years old, comes to TransWorld with a history of skate industry experience with companies such as Black Box Distribution and most recently Tum Yeto, where he was a territory sales manager responsible for igniting and managing all sales revenue growth.  

“David is true blue,” said TransWorld SKATEboarding Sales Manager, Mike Fitzgerald. “We are excited to have him as an addition to our TransWorld family. He has a diverse background in both retail and hardgood sales and is a passionate, outgoing skater. He’s the perfect fit. We are very lucky to have him.”

David lived most of his life in Delaware, and in 2007 packed up and drove over 3,000 miles to California to pursue his dreams in a career in action sports. “I am excited to be on board here at TransWorld both literally and figuratively,” said David. “I grew up waiting for the TransWorld SKATEboarding Buyer’s Guide to come out on the shelves every year since I can remember. Now, to be on the other side, working for the brand itself is a dream come true.”
