Hyundai Introduces Their New Telematics Platform: Blue Link®

Jan. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- Hyundai is ready to set on a new path and challenge the automotive industry with the 2011 Blue Link®. This telematics platform will offer more than 30 unique connectivity features on future Hyundai models.

The Blue Link® telematics platform features a number of applications including maintenance alerts, restaurants ratings, and various other features. The feature “Eco-Coach” will improves efficient driving making Blue Link® a safety feature. Also available on this telematics platform is remote door lock/unlock capabilities, remote features to heat or cool the car before driving and geofence, the ability to send a test if a driver has ventured outside prescribed borders or time constraints.

This unique and innovative approach enables Hyundai to deliver fast, accurate searches and downloads of POIs to vehicles without the unnecessary costs of traditional operator-only type systems of our competitors.”

Along with the Blue Link®launch, Hyundai will provide Blue Link Assurance. This will include core safety service for the introductory period including Autmatic Crash Notification (CAN) and Assistance, SOS Emergency Assistance and Enhanced Roadside assistance.
