Greenville EyeCare Adds Ortiz as Spanish Translator for Patients Seeking Healthy Vision

Jan. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Greenville, SC - - January 5, 2011 - - Greenville EyeCare Associates, a provider of comprehensive eye healthcare services, proudly announces that Donna Ortiz has joined the customer care team to serve Hispanic patients.  Recognizing the importance of proper language translations for vision care needs, Greenville EyeCare added Donna to assist Hispanic patients in communicating with staff members and doctors.  Donna’s bi-lingual skills help make the experience a comfortable one for those patients who may struggle with language issues or certain medical terms.  Within Greenville EyeCare’s call center, Donna assists with appointment setting, reminder calls and updating patient information.  She can also be found at the front receptionist’s desk welcoming patients as they arrive for their eye appointments.  
           
Before coming to Greenville EyeCare Associates, Donna put her translation skills to work in the medical and financial services fields assisting Hispanic patients and customers while performing numerous administrative duties.  A graduate of Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School in New York City, Donna moved south and furthered her education at Greenville Technical College.  In her spare time, she and her 2-year old daughter enjoy spending time together playing games at parks or relaxing at home.
