Attorney Gregory W. Coleman Re-elected to The Florida Bar Board of Governors

Jan. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Attorney Gregory W. Coleman, of Burman, Critton, Luttier & Coleman, has been re-elected for a two-year term without opposition to The Florida Bar Board of Governors. He is one of only four representatives from the 15th Judicial Circuit to serve on the Board of Governors.

Greg is currently on the Board of Governor’s: Executive Committee, Committee Chair for Program Evaluation Committee, Committee Chair for the Client’s Security Fund Procedures Committee, Vice-Chair for the Communications Committee; and he is also a member of the Budget and Strategic Planning Committees.

The 52-member Board of Governors is made up of the President and President-Elect of The Florida Bar; the President and President-Elect of the Young Lawyers Division; individuals elected by bar members from each of the 20 state judicial circuits, four out-of-state, and two public members appointed by the Florida Supreme Court.

The Board of Governors has exclusive authority to formulate and adopt matters of policy concerning the activities of the Bar, subject to limitations imposed by the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.
