The panel discussion, “Networking and Building Connections,” will take place at the Sheraton Springfield Monarch on Feb. 11 from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Participants can enjoy a buffet breakfast while listening to a dynamic panel discussion on building connections through social media, networking effectively at events, how to work with the news media and learning the legal aspects of creating collaborations. Panelists include Maegan Brooks, Law Offices of Brooks & Powe; Beatrice O'Quinn Dewberry, Dewberry Marketing & Communications and Holyoke Community College; and Jason V. Watts, founder and president of The Urban Professionals Network in New Haven, Conn. and www.blackinct.com. Registration is open until Feb. 7. The cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Guests will also receive free professional development materials.
