MEElectronics announces an in-ear headphone with sound tuning capability

Jan. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Sound preferences vary from person to person, across music genres, and even with different media players.  Sound tuning is achieved by changing the rear tuning plates, adjusting the level of bass and overall presentation.  The in-ear design provides passive sound isolation and the 10 mm driver provides powerful, dynamic full range sound.

“Music tastes can vary depending on mood, background noise, music genre, or even music players, so being able to tune the sound give the user more flexibility for their preference at any given time,” said Joe Daileda, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for MEElectronics.  “Simply changing the rear plate alters the sound in a very natural way, without the sound degradation that can occur with an equalizer.  Giving consumers an option to alter the sound to match their preference will take out some of the guesswork when buying a headphone before listening to it.”

The SP51 has a stylish all black design with the MEE frustration-free cable and retails for $59.99.  A phone version with an inline microphone and remote button will also be available for $69.99.  Accessories include a protective case, 4 sets of ear tips, and 3 sets of tuning plates.  Available in Q1 of 2011.
