"Don't Kill Bill" Puppy Mill Awareness Stage Show Hits Boulder
Local artist swings from the ceiling to raise awareness about puppy mills and volunteer opportunities.
Duffy will be performing this unique twist and spin on humane education on February 12th, 2011, in Boulder, CO at The Dairy. The show is focused on raising awareness about puppy mills (large scale dog breeding facilities where dogs are typically kept outdoors in chicken wire cages their whole lives) and encouraging people to get involved with rescue organizations. Proceeds from the show will be used to further Up For Pups animal advocacy efforts.
Local rescue organizations will be present in the lobby to answer any questions, and Duffy will be promoting their adoptable dogs during the show.
Tickets are available at http://upforpups.org/
The "Don't Kill Bill" show is accompanied by a 55-story audio book produced by Happy Tails Books. The four-hour-long "Best of Lost Souls: FOUND!" audio book takes listeners on a journey through the hardships and joy of animal rescue. During the month of January, Up For Pups is donating $8 from each audio book sold back to animal rescue organizations. The audio book is available at http://upforpups.org/
