Prowave Media Receives 2010 International Platinum AVA Awards

Dec. 31, 2010 - PRLog -- Silicon Valley (California)-based Prowave Media has received two(2) Platinum AVA  Awards sponsored and judged by the Association of  Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP).

Prowave Media received a Platinum Award in the Corporate Image category for the video entitled “Network Integrity” which it produced for Cisco Systems as part of the company’s global  Brand Protection  social media campaign. The video will be distributed to all the Cisco Authorized Partners worldwide and is planned to be subtitled in various languages.

The other Platinum Award was received under the Corporate Communications category for a video also created for Cisco Systems. This video was created for internal use  to help promote the corporate launch of its web-based IT Support application.

The AVA Awards is an international awards competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, direction, shooting, and editing of audio-visual materials and programs. There were over 1,700 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries in the 2010 competition.  Winners were selected from over 160 categories in three divisions; Television Productions, Video/Film Productions and Web/New Media.

Entries include film, analog and digital productions viewed in a wide variety of mediums- from movie screens to televisions to computers. Entrants include audio, video and film production companies, web developers, advertising agencies, PR firms, corporate and government communication departments, producers, directors, editors and shooters.

Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
