By: BIG ARTS Dick Hyman has had a prolific career in New York as a studio musician and won seven Most Valuable Player Awards from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. He received a daytime Emmy® for composition of an original television score. He has experience writing film scores, orchestral compositions, and has made countless concert appearances. He recorded more than 100 albums under his own name, including all of the music of the pioneer jazz pianists.
