New Virtual Training Series Gives IT Professionals an Edge on Virtualization Technologies
Virtualization Community Page Launches an Online Virtual Academy to Round-Out Educational Offerings.
The academy was created to round out the education aspect of itsavirtualworld.com, a website dedicated to the virtualization community and offers a non-biased, vendor-neutral, information and education resource for virtualization topics.
With an aggressive course release schedule, users can expect new Academy classes on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. Topics ranging from implementing VMware, Hyper-V, disaster recovery for Virtual environments to cloud computing- virtual security, among others, will be offered.
Virtual Academy will launch with a two-day class Acronis Backup and Recovery 101 . The initial course, focused on Acronis, will arm participants with an advanced level of knowledge and hands-on experience in understanding, designing and implementing a complete disaster recovery strategy for virtual environments. Users are given the opportunity to work within a live lab environment with an Acronis Certified Engineer.
The “Virtual Academy - Acronis” course will provide students with current industry techniques and methodologies, outline future DR challenges, install, configure, and deploy Acronis in a virtual environment. Through the exploration of several different configurations, participants will build a sound understanding of disaster recovery models with Acronis technology.
“With eleven plus years working for a variety of organizations as well as owning my own virtualization consulting business, I understand the reluctance to investigate new disaster recovery strategies,”
Virtual Academy – Acronis starts on January 20th, at 1:00pm ET and ends on January 21st, at 3:00pm ET. The class will allow for 25 participant and costs $599.00 USD per student. Visit www.itsavirtualworld.com to register or for more information.
