Cystic Fibrosis Artists Unite

Dec. 29, 2010 - PRLog -- Here is an exciting new way for all artists in the Cystic Fibrosis community to unite, collaborate, meet, and inspire each other. 65RoseWorld is a new Web Community especially created for this purpose. The creator and administrator of the community, Johann Smit, is the grandfather of a baby girl that was born with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) in September of 2009. An artist and designer himself, he also has creative interest and skills to share, and offers this to all members. But the real intent and focus of the community is to collaborate, form groups, co-operate, assist, teach, learn, and together embark on the amazing journey of creativity, inspiration, motivation, diversion, variety, and hope.

65RoseWorld is a Free For All community that was not created with the intent to create any profits, and we aim to keep it all free for our members.

The common ground of all 65RoseWorld members is Cystic Fibrosis, the rare genetic disease that attacks the digestive system and lungs and is ultimately terminal. During the 50′s, victims seldom lived long enough to see elementary school. Today, modern technology, research and science have helped to push the “final deadline” for our community by ways of lung transplants and scientifically regulated lifestyles. But Cystic Fibrosis is in no way yet a curable disease, although we never stop hoping.

65RoseWorld was created to help and encourage our CF artists (and inspiring artists) to learn from- and inspire each other in the various fields of interests that we share. 65RoseWorld would also like to encourage family members and friends of CF sufferers to join our ranks, as it is our parents and friends who help us, and learn with us, how to fight for life and for living balanced lives with CF, as we make a stand and survive the many onslaughts of the disease.

65RoseWorld is for the artistic  youth (and adults) who have CF. However, if you are a CF sufferer who may feel that you have no creative skills or talented, you are free to still join in and explore. Talents are everywhere, and it sometimes just takes the right inspiration in the right moment to unleash that inner creative force that is inherent in all of humanity.

This is an international call to all Cystic Fibrosis sufferers, 65RoseWorld is the platform, connection, lounge, stage, band room, design studio, and art gallery that connects us all and turns us into a large family of creative caregivers.
Together we find the strength and hope to succeed, achieve, excel, and survive.
