This is seen as a new income stream and puts no limits on revenue generated by their service departments. It seems that car owners and dealers prefer this option which avoids disrupting their busy lives and Service Managers save money on courtesy cars as well as boosting profits from increased business. The product was initially invented to maintain rally cars at remote events as there are no garage facilities or electricity supply available at these venues. The trailer can transport vehicles and lift them in the air for inspection, repairs or display. The hydraulic lift is powered by a self-contained 24v battery which can be charged from the towing vehicle; therefore no external power supply is required.
Trailer-Lift has recently won the prestigious Global Media Award for innovation and market potential at this year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Trailer-Lift is now being used by Europe’s largest vehicle recovery company the AA (Automobile Association).
