Dec. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- According to many Brazil linguists, Portuguese Language is a highly diglossic language. L deformation (also known as Brazilian vernacular) is the mother tongue of all Brazilians, and H deformation (standard Brazilian Portuguese) to get through education. L archaic Portuguese deformation is a simplified form, affect the Amerindian and African languages, while the H deformation is based on 19th century European Portuguese (and its form in the standard European Portuguese is very similar to the spelling method is only a little different).

L deformation is in the form of speech, Brazilian Portuguese, only to avoid the very formal speech (before the courts, political debate), when H deformation is the written form of Brazilian Portuguese, just to avoid the informal text (such as song lyrics, love letters, close friends letters.) Many times using the L language teaching deformation, when the students explained the structure and use of H when the deformation; in the essay, however, all students are expected to use H deformation.

L deformation for the songs, movies, soap operas, sitcoms and other television programs, though, often, H deformation history of the movies or soap operas for the use of language sounds more "elegant" and / or "archaic." H deformation was more like, when called into the foreign film and the series when the Brazilian Portuguese, but more like L deformation present. Movie subtitles commonly used mixture of L-and H deformation, but is still close from the H deformation.

Most literature is written in the H deformation. They are attempting to write L in the deformation (a masterpiece MacunaĆma, written by the Brazilian modernist Marioo de Andrade), but, at present, L deformation only in the dialogue. However, many contemporary writers like to use the H deformation even in the informal dialogue. This is the actual translation of the book, never used L deformation, only the H one. Childrens Books L seems to be more friendly, but, again, if they are from another language such as (The Little Prince has been translated) they will use only the H deformation.
