The 2011 Toyota Corolla has three models to choose from: the base, LE and S. All models come standard with a 1.8-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine and get 28mpg city and 35mpg highway (manual transmission).

The newly standard Vehicle Stability Control helps the driver to keep control of the car when the brakes are applied with force.  Six standard airbags and an energy absorbing steering column are also there to keep the driver and passenger’s safe in any collision.

The 2011 Toyota Corolla Smart Stop Technology automatically reduces engine power when both pedals are pressed at the same time under certain conditions. In normal driving conditions, you won’t notice Smart Stop Technology as it is imperceptible. The feature doesn’t engage if the brake pedal is depressed before the accelerator pedal. This allows for vehicles starting on a steep hill to safely accelerate without rolling backward.
