Dec. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- New York City’s Reason Clothing and Blind Barber have come together to produce the first step in a collaborative effort entitled Born On 10th Street. This release consists of two custom striped knit winter beanies. A limited amount of both styles (one with pom pom and one without) have just been released exclusively through the Reason Clothing online Shop, and the remainder will be available for purchase during a special in store Reason Clothing vs. Blind Barber event taking place in the coming weeks. The design of the hats references the red white and blue stripe motif of a vintage barber shop pole, while the hat shape is reminiscent of a United States Navy watchmen’s cap. Both hats are custom dyed, knit, finished, and embroidered in the United States. This collaboration is the result of a long running friendship between the owners of both companies and a coincidence that The Blind Barber was opened on 10th Street in Manhattan’s East Village, just steps from where Reason Clothing was first founded. For more information, or to purchase one of the hats, visit reasonclothing.com/shop now.
