The Society are using a Macmillan Christmas e-card to celebrate the achievement of their fundraisers. Lyn Crowe, Essex Fundraising Manager for Macmillan said: “We have been really impressed by the enthusiasm and creativity shown by Saffron’s charity teams. They have thrown themselves in to supporting Macmillan with a terrific sense of fun. The money they have raised for us will make a huge difference to the support we are able to provide. “I’d like to thank and congratulate the staff at Saffron for all that they have achieved, and also thank Saffron’s customers who have been getting behind the staff and making the events so worthwhile.” In further news, out of all 12 branches, Saffron’s Halstead branch have been crowned Branch of the Year following a year of outstanding sales and customer service. Alana Farrant, Customer Services Assistant from the branch said: “We are thrilled to win the Branch of the Year title this year. We have all worked incredibly hard in serving customers throughout 2010, and helping them to get the most from their money. “I must also thank our customers who are generous enough to acknowledge when they feel they have received outstanding service – some of the customer comments which have been passed back to the team were very kind.
