Dec. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- “The answer to this question is eventually reverse engineered right to the spectrum cost assumptions. Challenge is not to find a balance point, but a point of arrival where performance excellence is achieved with judicious investments in the various aspects of the network. Desired network performance levels are directly an indicator to the Customer Experience and guaranteed business growth. Network performance is not limited to few KPI's but has a far deeper impact in terms of market perception, and even Brand Value”, says Konesh in his interview with Telecom IQ.

As is the case for most fast-growing operators in Asia Pacific, balancing the network cost to support the ever increasing demands from subscribers ranks as the biggest challenge affecting revenue growth.

In fact, this is such a crucial issue that Konesh would be at the 6th Annual Mobile Network Optimisation Summit (22 – 23 March 2011, Bangkok, Thailand) to discuss his experiences, as well as 16 other operators from 10 unique regions across Asia Pacific, benchmarking their experiences on supporting that next phase of growth.

Experiences on how to optimally manage Traffic Between High Band U2100 And Low Band U850 Or U900 Along With The GSM Layer to ensure quality of service of voice and data will be shared by Jowed Khatiz, Performance and Optimisation Manager, Vodafone Hutchison.

First hand insights will also be imparted by Anky A Priyagung, Vice President Network Management, Telkomsel, on end-to-end data optimisation on radio access, core, IP and IP backhaul to drive down mean-time-to-repair by 50%.

Joining them would be operators like Dialog Telekom Sri Lanka, Du Telecom Dubai, Chung Hwa Telecom Taiwan, Digi Malaysia, to name a few.

The 6th Mobile Network Optimisation Summit is the LONGEST-RUNNING optimisation-focused conference in Asia Pacific, benchmarking on-the-ground experiences on how to effectively manage performance and quality, with increasing capacity requirements.
