PIP implant fiasco receives white knight

Dec. 21, 2010 - PRLog -- There are many companies within the UK that dominate the Cosmetic Surgery market, sometimes referred to as supermarket groups. The majority of these companies used PIP implants, which according to an implant manufacturer were the cheapest products available on the market. Now I know that these groups press all of their suppliers to give the cheapest prices which is normal business practice, but when this pressure results in the manufacturer having to resort to using non-licensed inferior products, you have to ask the question, who caused this problem.

Literally hundreds of women are finding out that their implants are leaking silicon into their body, with many women unable to pay the £3,000+ been quoted by the original supplier to rectify the problem.
