New Client Additions for 3Q 2010 and a Significant Expansion with Spectra Energy

Detechtion Technologies announced today that Spectra Energy has committed to the implementation of Enalysis™, Detechtion's industry leading compressor optimization and fleet management technology, across their entire compression fleet in western Canada. After two and a half years of working with the Enalysis™ solution on 12 of their reciprocating compressors, Spectra is expanding Detechtion's fleet management solution to all remaining rotating assets. “Enalysis™ is one of the primary elements of our compressor reliability program”, says Neal McGarry, Maintenance Lead for Spectra Energy.

“I've been working with Neal and his operations teams at Spectra for over two years, and we have done many good things together to identify and improve Spectra's overall compressor operation. This decision to move forward on a fleet-wide basis provides a significant opportunity for Detechtion to deliver an even higher level of value to Spectra, now that our engineering teams will have full operational visibility into their compression assets”, states Kevin Flynn, Detechtion's Engineering Account Manager for Spectra Energy.

With Spectra's full fleet of compressors accessible inside Enalysis™, combined with electronic/SCADA field data capture, the operation teams at Spectra can be confident that they will be in a position to capitalize on all future compression opportunities in a very efficient and effective manner.

Detechtion Technologies also announced today the addition of several new key clients during the third quarter of 2010 as it continues to expand the use of its Enalysis™ compressor optimization and fleet management program throughout the global natural gas industry.

New clients added during the 3rd Quarter of 2010 include:

•AFP Operations AS, a division of Oslo, Norway based Aker Floating Production. AFP constructs, owns, charters, and operates Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) units equipped for offshore oil and gas production. AFP will initially be utilizing the Enalysis™ solution onboard its FPSO Dhirubhai-1 located in India's Bay of Bengal.

•Enerfin Resources, a growth-oriented midstream & upstream natural gas company based in Houston, Texas. Enerfin owns and operates natural gas pipelines, compression, processing plants & treating facilities and explores for and operates crude oil & natural gas wells. The company was founded over twenty years ago, is privately held, and currently has operating locations in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, California and Oregon.

•Energy XXI, an independent oil & natural gas exploration and production company with a core operating focus of onshore and offshore Louisiana. The company has an “acquire and exploit” growth strategy with a focus on mature oil-producing assets in the Gulf of Mexico shelf.

•Plains Exploration and Production, an independent oil and gas company engaged in the activities of acquiring, developing, exploring and producing oil and gas properties in California, Texas, Louisiana, and the Gulf of Mexico. PXP is headquartered in Houston, Texas with core operations in North America.

During the 3rd quarter of 2010, two additional energy companies selected Enalysis™ as their fleet management solution of choice. A major pipeline company located in western Canada, along with a major integrated global energy producer, both secured new agreements this past quarter with Detechtion and the Enalysis™ application. Several of Detechtion's existing clients also expanded their use of the Enalysis Program on additional compressors throughout the United States, Canada and Australia.
