Travis Porter gives 4th Quarter producer, J-Mac, their blessing to produce the "Make it Rain" Remix

Dec. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- The Travis Porter story could be 2010's feel good hip-hop story of the year.  A long journey of hard work and dedication ends with the prize sought after by all hip-hop artists...a record deal.  Jive Records won the battle over the rap trio whose popularity has grown to label noticing proportions since they hit the scene in 2006.  The Travis Porter story proves once again that there is only one way to build a music career...from the underground, up.

True to their indie artist roots the rap group was looking to innovate their sound by making a house remix for their popular hit "Make It Rain."  From New York to Vegas to L.A. house and techno dominate the night club scene and they wanted to introduce their personalities to the house music fanatics.  So with game recognizing game, Travis Porter, chose rising production star John "J-Mac" McCall to add the Fourth Quarter magic to the track.

With the ink still wet on the record contract it says a lot that J-Mac  was given the blessing to produce the track.  The connection to Travis Porter was made by the well known DJ Paradime whose talents are also making big waves on the music scene.  Paradime's skills as a DJ and his reach, along with the production talents of, J-Mac, makes for an explosive combination.  The two call themselves Kool Crunch which is fitting for a remix that smashes hip-hop and house together in such a cool way.  Ladies and Gentlemen, get your glow sticks ready....Fourth Quarter Time!!!
